HACBM provided structural and architectural design services as a sub-consultant to the prime project design firm for this 100,000 sf addition and renovation to portions of the existing 200,000 sf building. Structural renovations to the existing building were designed to support new aquatic exhibits and relocate the mechanical system units to the roof; structural design peer review services for the entire addition; and architectural design of the toilet rooms and main circulation elevator bank. In all, HACBM designed or reviewed designs for components in approximately half of the expansion project.
