The Juilliard Building was originally built in 1874 and 1881 as a complex of five textile showroom and assembly buildings. The buildings were restored and converted to 30 individually-designed residential units, including two-story penthouses. The project was approved by the Landmarks Preservation Commission. The Juilliard Building was completed in 2001.
